Some towns are just trustworthy, and others just aren't. Dayville Oregon is a great example of a town who share a collective set of morals and unspoken rules. We have never met better people, who are willing to go out of their way to help a neighbor or a stranger just because it is the right thing to do. We have had a different experience in Athol/Bayview Idaho where the Cape Horn Fire camp was located. Only a few days into our visit someone stole our folding tables AND our canopy. Only 24 hours later someone stole a 100$ order of shirts out of our mobile shop right under our noses! We both believe strongly in "what goes around, comes around". Other than those two incidents we have had a nice stay. Quite a few residents were very hospitable. A big thank you to Darren, whose home we were set up next to. We appreciate the understanding of the noise from the generator, charging our cell phones and letting us park the mobile shop on the property for safe keeping. The incident command and information from the fire camp itself were just wonderful and helpful as always. We hope you guys enjoyed the design and we look forward to seeing some of you at the next fire camp! We appreciate the business owners in Bayview who offered to let us set up on their land to sell in town. We are headed to our home base to regroup and take a break. Check out our store for the current fire prints of 2015, and the Kitten Complex reprint. Get that one while you can. Kitten prints will only be available until October 25th of 2015. Orders will go out BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
